Mark Gonzalez is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He graduated at the top of his class from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 2007, receiving his BS degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in clinical exercise science. Before creating Hit the Mark Fitness, Mark worked in Physical therapy for 2 years, crafting a therapeutic and rehabilitative background which has enabled him to excel in fitness instruction. Mark was previously the head instructor for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club at CSUF, and now teaches self defense privately through Hit the Mark Fitness. He has an extensive background in mixed martial arts, including Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing. He is an avid runner, cyclist and adventure enthusiast. He’s skydived, hiked Half Dome in Yosemite, and competes regularly in local marathons and various sporting events. 





      Mark definitely leads a limitless existence, Mark is a passionate individual and constantly strives to enhance his abilities, both mentally and physically. Among his many priorities, Mark strives to keep up to date with the most recent research in the fitness community, traveling to seminars, attending workshops and reading scholarly journals and research articles. Mark’s constant pursuit towards higher levels of understanding illuminates his increasingly unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Ultimately, Mark is a confidently focused individual who dedicatedly strives for personal development and self fulfillment in all areas of life.
